Jameson Fitzpatrick
Baccalaureate Speaker
Jameson Fitzpatrick is the vice president of the Class of 2026. While at Cheverus, he was a three-year member of Key Club and Best Buddies. He is a member of the National Honor Society. He was a three-year retreat leader, including Kairos.
Fitzpatrick was a four-year member of the varsity basketball team. He was named to the All-State Rookie Team his sophomore year and SMAA All-Second Team his junior year. He was a three-year member of the golf team and won a state championship his senior year. He was a two-year member of the outdoor track team.
Outside of school, Fitzpatrick served as a camp counselor at the Cheverus basketball camp each summer of high school.
Fitzpatrick is the son of Marsha and Christopher Fitzpatrick of Cumberland. He will attend University of Maine at Farmington, where he will play basketball.
Lainey Trieu

Salutatorian
Lainey Trieu is a member of the National Honor Society, an AP Scholar, a National Merit Finalist, and a U.S. Presidential Scholar Semifinalist. She received the Harvard Book Award junior year.
While at Cheverus, Trieu was a four-year member of the Math Team, serving as captain her senior year. She was the president of her class her sophomore and junior year.
The summer before her senior year, conducted research and wrote a research paper as part of the High School Summer Internship, UC Davis Young Scholars Program.
She is a violinist and was recognized with the Maine Music Educators Association District 2 Orchestra her freshman, sophomore, and junior years and was accepted into the All-State Orchestra her freshman and senior years. In the tenth grade, she was 2nd chair in Portland Youth Junior Orchestra.
Trieu was a four-year member of the varsity cross country team. Outside of school, Trieu is a member of the North Atlantic Figure Skating Club where she skates and serves as an instructor. She is also a member of the Corps de Ballet in the Company and a teacher at Maine State Ballet.
Trieu is the daughter of Jackie Nguyen and Huy Trieu of Freeport. She will attend Johns Hopkins University in the fall..
